Includes original version of Slug's 'Hell's Playground'. A must have for lovers of spoken word and those interested in the Minnesota scene.

Isabell Monk graduated B.F.A. from Towson State University in Speech and Drama in 1974. In 1980 she attended the Yale School of Drama, and has working as an actress ever since, including the New York Shakespeare Festival, Yale Repertory Theatre, American Repertory Theatre, Actor's Theatre of Louisville, James A. Doolittle Theatre, the American National Theatre, and a company member of the Guthrie Theatre. She has also toured to Australia, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Great Britain and France. She has appeared on Broadway, in film and television, receiving the Center for Public Broadcasting Excellence Award, the Drama Desk and Drama Logue Awards, N.A.T.A.S. Emmy Honors Award, a Obie Award, and was a Helen Hayes Award Nominee in 1984. She is currently working on the children's book series, Hope.
